Proud big brother!

We've had a few fun big changes in our family since I have last posted... Knox Lee Willis was born on September 4, 2011! It was such a wonderful day! And also my new niece Presley Kacey Stuart was born a week later, September 11. Yay for babies! I love my family, my life and my amazing husband... He was a trooper through my pregnancy and I appreciate all he has done for me. He is the cutest dad and I love to watch him with our boys. Thanks Jader!

Labor story:
*September 1st: I had a Dr. appt. I was 50% thinned and dilated to a 5.
*September 2nd: (Friday) Jade, Brayker and I headed to Midway to stay at the family cabin. Laura and Whitnie were there and we had a fun relaxing night...
*September 3rd: Jade roped in Heber and then took off for Wellsville to a rodeo. We relaxed all day and then decided to head to Park City. Dropped Whit off at the Alpine Slide and Laura and I headed to the outlets. We only went in a few stores and I was startin to feel a little crampy and got a little nervous. I called Stephie and asked her what to do. She told me a few suggestions but reminded me that it wouldn't be fun for anyone to have a baby in the car... So Laura drove me to Evanston (bless her heart). We went to Steph's house... I was dilated to a 6 and she said if I checked in to the hospital then they probably wouldn't let me leave. I waited for Jade and when he got there we finally decided to wait it out overnight and see how I felt in the morning. Mom and dad took Brayker home with them and Jade went home to shower and get some clothes and my baby stuff. I stayed the night with Steph and we watched "Life As We Know It". Way cute show. :)
*September 4th: I slept in and took a bubble bath while Steph went for a walk. Jade showed up and took us to lunch... where they both tried to talk me into going to the hospital and getting things checked out (i'd been contracting all night and morning). I consented and we headed to the hospital. Barb was the sweet nurse working and she said I was dilated to a 7 and that I'm not going home. :) I got my epidural and they started the pit. Epidurals for some reason kind of make me sick and I kept throwing up and feeling icky... so they gave me some meds to help with that... and they completely wiped me out. I was so tired and pretty much out of it. I don't remember alot of what was going on in between. Dr Evans was on call that weekend and she was amazing. She came in and broke my water. A little after 5pm Barb checked me... I was still very much out of it, and remember her saying "Ok... I'm gonna keep my hand here because babies head it ready to come out, so when you are done contracting, I'll move my hand." I was thinking "what? I can't keep my eyes open let alone have a baby". Dr Evans came in and Steph and Jade were standing by my head helping me along. They had me push once and then I pushed again and out came Mr Knox!! Yay, what a wonderful day!
He was 7 lb 4oz and 20.5". Born at 5:13pm.

We have been crazy busy it seems like, but I can't think of anything that we have been doing.. :) We branded some calves last weekend and Jade's family was able to come help and hang out with us for the weekend. Laura was busy planting me some shrubs and picking up my yard. She is so awesome and I appreciated all that she did!

Jade bought me those yellow roses for no apparent reason.. he is so thoughtful. We went to a ropin in Twin Falls a few weeks ago and the boys were able to go swimming! So fun.

Had a fun weekend in Lindon a few weeks ago. Kept everyone busy...

Trouble all around right?...

We painted our kitchen and redid the floors. I feel so much fresher and cleaner when I am in there now. Fun to change things!

I also got rid of my big entertainment shelf that was just collecting dust and stupid trinkets and I found this table at the DI for $15... whipped some paint/glaze on it and it opened up our living room so much! Fun change!

Our biggest news lately is that we are going to have another little boy running around the house... He is due September 11! I am nervous how I am going to take care of 3 guys in my house, but I guess we'll figure it out as we go along. We are open to suggestions for names so please feel free to give us some ideas! Cash prize to the winner... :)

Brooke helped Mom and I make some cute Peep wreaths for Easter. They were way fun and I'm totally making them again next year!

Cassidy Sudduth made me some yummy strawberries last weekend and they were so awesome that I just had to post a picture of them. They were so yummy!!

Well I can't come up with much that we have been doing... other than going to ropin's. Grandma Weston had club yesterday and mom and I were "privelaged" enough to get to help her. She has a group of friends that get together once a month and play Rook. The host gets to feed everyone and it was granny's turn. The best way to explain how big of a deal it is would be to say this... She is already worried about what to serve next time. :)

Brayker thought it would be comfortable to cuddle up under grandma's rug with her couch pillow... he is crazy!

Happy Birthday MOM! We met my fam at Bear Town in Evanston and celebrated that crazy lady we all love! We (us, Steph&Bri, Dad) gave her a NookColor! She is excited and I think I am going to be stealing it from her more than she thinks. :) Love you Mom!

Happy Valentine's Day! My amazingly awesome husband came through big time on Vday! I love all of my gifts! Thanks Jader!

We were able to spend the chilly weekend in Mesquite! Jade won a ropin down there and then we got rained out... Poor dad didn't even get to rope but we had fun!

Brayker had a fun weekend and was a trooper for sure!

Well, we are now on ~~day~~ night 4 of our "sleeping in our own bed" journey. Brayker has fallen alseep in his own bed the last 3 nights. Not happily but he has done it and I'm proud. The first night I lost count of him getting out of his bed after 13 times... rough guesstimate: 19. Half the time he would just walk in and check on us and then go get back in his bed. Sometimes he would bring his pillow and blanket and try to sneak in bed wth us... But we made it. Hope it gets better.

We went to Kuna ID last weekend to a team ropin. Brayker stayed home with g&g Stuart and he had fun. We had a relaxing weekend, watched a lot of team roping, made it to the mall for a teensy weensy hour and visited with Tad, Johneen and the kids!

Brayker helped his dad save a baby calf the other night. It was a very cold night so the calf got to sleep in 'grandpa's garage'. Brayker had to keep checking on it along with the 7 puppies that are sleeping in my dad's sauna right now. :)

My darling 2nd mother sent us some fun Valentine's treats in the mail! It was a fun surprise and she even made all of us pillowcases! She is the best and I love her so much! Thanks Laura!

Well my baby is officially a little boy... where did the last 2 years go? We had such a fun birthday party! Everyone came and we had presents galore. Still trying to find places to put them in my house!

This is just a random blog.... who would expect any less? But this morning when I got to work, my darling husband had sent me flowers.... thank you Jade, I love you so much!

We went to Vegas in December! We had so much fun! G&G Willis kept Brayker so we were able to do adult things and go to Casino's every night. We had a blast!

Happy Late Thanksgiving! We went to Woodruff and later in the day went to Lindon and had a fun weekend. Laura, Whit and I went midnight MADNESS shopping! :) Just to Wal-Mart but we had fun!

My cousin Zane passed away a few days before Thanksgiving and Grandpa Chuck passed away last week. Jade had to speak at his funeral today and did a wonderful job. It was a beautiful day and a beautiful tribute. Tomorrow morning we are leaving for Las Vegas til Sunday! Brayker is staying with G&G Willis and I am already homesick for him, but I know it will be good for him. Jade and my dad are roping Thursday so GOOD LUCK!

Also**Today is my SIL Whitnie's birthday! Love you sooo much Whit!

On Tuesday... Brayker and I went to Steph & Bri's house! We started to make the fondant for our Christmas chocolates! We had so much fun! We made 4 batches! I'm not sure if Mom is proud of us, but she should be.. we worked very hard! :) Brayker and Libby had so much fun together! They definitely got their wiggles out for the week (I don't think Brayker has caught up yet) so thanks LIBBY! And thanks for letting us come! We had a blast and can't wait to eat our yummy candies! xoxo

Yay! It is my birthday month/week! I love being born on Veteren's Day because the courthouse is closed that day so there is never a chance I will have to work on my birthday! :)

We have been super duper busy with shipping cows (in/out) and with the flu we had and mainly just being with Brayker can make anyone feel busy!

We were diggin a little deep for Halloween... went shopping the day before and couldn't find anything I loved so we whipped up a mini Fred Flinstone... I couldn't get him to smile for the camera EVER! We had fun though! Look at cute little Yoda in the background!

On a Sunday afternoon we needed a treat and so we gave it a family effort and made Twinkie cupcakes! They were delicious!

Brayker is a trucker baby... we went with Jade in the semi a few times to haul cows/hay and Brayker just crawled up in the sleeper and watched movies!

What is new with us?? Hmm... we are thinking of doing a little needed remodeling on the ol' bathroom and will hopefully start tonight! Also, the outside of the house is in the thought process.. we have siding started on the front and if it doesn't snow tonight, maybe we can get started painting? (cross your fingers).

We got to spend a lot of time with g&g willis! Laura had a few weeks off so they came to our house last weekend and then B & I went back with her to Lindon! We had fun! We did lots of shopping and had so much fun with crazy Aunt Whit & Shay! Even got to fight with Aunt Leslie!

Somebody got his hair cut and seriously looks so much older... :) Thanks for putting up with us and WE LOVE YOU grandma!!

For our anniversary, we went to Billings Montana! It was soo much fun! It was our first family vacation with just us 3! When we got there, Jade found out he won the year-end for his circuit and won an awesome jacket and a buckle! Good job hun! We played with horses as much as we could, and we even snuck off to the zoo! Had a blast!

I can't believe that my little boy is growing so big! He is definitely a boy... loves dirt, roping, horses... learning how to say no, and loves to play with Rurry (Fluffy)!

All we can seem to do is laugh at him and mention how dang cute he is...
He is dad's helper for sure. I was in a bind 2 days last week because mom had the flu and he got to help Jade... he wasn't even sad to leave me, but was sad when dad left.

What would I do without these great boys in my life?

We arrive at the arena and the fellas head off to find partners for the ropin and so mom and I decided we are gonna go hit the shops... Right before we leave, Jade asks me if I have any cash because they don't take checks- well, there goes my shopping stash. :)
But being the gatherer that he is, he won 1st, 2nd, 3rd & 4th that weekend! LOVE YOU JADER!
The next day, we went to the Merry Piglets again and yum yum yum... I got the shrimp enchiladas and they were AwEsOmE! Can't wait to go back!

Jade roped in Logan this weekend and won 2nd! Good job hun... and Bob & Laura came and stayed with us Friday night and on Saturday we went to the lake! Aunt Curly's family came too and brought their boat and jet ski (thanks Brett!) and we had such a blast!!! It was kind of a chilly day but we had fun anyways!

can't belive how fast this summer has gone, but we have had a blast!

Hmm... where to begin. we can finally see an end coming to rodeo season! It is a fun time, but we start getting worn out and missing Jader (not sure why?:)) We miss grandma Renee & grandpa Weston... granny Weston just turned 88 on monday! Wowzer! Grandpa Bob is doing well and hopefully done with treatments!

We finally orderd a crib tent to take to Lindon so we are looking forward to getting sleep when we go down there next. Brayker is jibber jabbering now and saying all kinds of funny words. But I think I am the only one that can understand him! ;) He has pretty much all of his teeth except for the dreaded 2 year molars. He's started going to nursery and the 2 times he has been, he has cried more than he has the past 18 months of his life! I'm assured he'll get use to it soon.

His binky is officially gone and he did it all by himself! Seriously, best kid ever right!?

Mom finally got a lawn put in! Well, the trees are in and the hydro-seed is starting to come up! She is super excited! Today is my dad's birthday! Happy birthday Pops! Truly love you forever and you win the best dad award this year!

Tagg & Brayker are having so much fun together... except for the fact that they always want what each other has and they haven't learned the concept of sharing yet, but they are so fun!!

Everyone else is doing great, that I know of anyway! Hope everyone is having a super fun summer! Love you all!

has anyone read this book? well i love it and recommend anyone/everyone to read it. it simply states that we all feel loved different ways... i know it sounds selfish, but my love language is gifts!!

i knew jade didn't want to read the book so i copied the gift chapter and left it in a rodeo magazine for him (yep, pretty sneaky).

well last week he bought me roses, and yesterday he had to make a quick ranch trip to logan and came home with dinner and a new swimsuit (for me)... even though is was so small that my crack was peeping out, i still loved that he thought about me enough to shop for a swimsuit! i love my husband and i think he is the greatest.

I am having a Pampered Chef party on Wednesday, the 21st at 3ish! I know it is so hard to go to parties so feel free to order anything over the internet... they have lots of things that are really good and I planned it now so that if anyone needed help with Mother's Day then they could just order something fun!

A few of my favorite cheaper things are the micro-cooker, the batter bowl, and the mix'n chop.I think that this trifle bowl is darling too! You can take the bottom off and it comes with a lid! Sooo cute! It would be so fun to throw some goodies in there like hairspray, lip gloss, perfume, candy, etc. and it would be the perfect mother's day gift!

I love it when it's warm! We came down to Lindon yesterday! It is super nice down here!

Last night we went to Heber to the college rodeo... Jade's little sister Shayley sang the national anthem and did sooooo AMAZING! So we listened and then Jade took me to "The Last Song"... soo good. I pretty much cried through the whole thing and Jade wondered what was wrong with me! :) BUT LOVED IT! Thanks hon for taking me! I know 'one' more person who LOVES being outside...

I forgot to share that Brayker threw his first mega tantrum a few weeks ago... His uncle Shad led him around on a horse, and Brayker thought he was soooo big! He didn't even make a face, just somber as can be. After we took him off and made him go inside, I think he finally quit crying/screaming after about 10 minutes. :)

He loves being outside... whenver anyone opens a door, he is making a run for it!

Last weekend, Jade had a ropin in Twin Falls and I decided to go and had so much fun!... But I felt a little lonely and like I was forgetting something... It was my first night away from Brayker and his first night staying alone without me. He stayed at G&G Willis' house and had so much fun. Thanks again for watching him!!!

Then we had Easter! We had so much fun!! Brayker was more interested in the little plastic eggs than his basket, but was so cute!

Brayker got bubbles from his aunts & uncles (thanks) and was having such a blast trying to catch them. Thanks for keeping him entertained Uncle Wade!

I love my husband so much... he got me these for Easter! Can't wait for the snow to be gone.

Grandpa Weston:

I've been so blessed to have all of my grandparents for so long. 24 years I've lived to be with all of them, but my dear grandpa passed away on March 19. He had cancer, and we didn't find out until a week before he died. He was a tough man and through the end, he would never complain or ask for anything, and was always sure to thank us for everything. I miss him so much. After someone is gone, you wish you would have done more for them and I regret not spending more time with him. Before I went to Kindergarten I was at his house probably every day and then school got in the way. Growing up I did spend a lot of time with him though and I'm so grateful. He was a great grandpa and I can't wait to see him again. I feel blessed and I'm especially grateful that Brayker got to meet him. Love you grandpa.

This is a poem that Pete Cornia wrote for our family and I was asked to read it at his funeral:

"Cowboy, Come On Home"

He called himself a cowboy, went nowhere without his hat.

But to earn that simple title took more, much more than that.

Wearing fancy boots and silver belt buckles were never enough.

Because cowboys in his country were bred to be tough.

His hands were huge, calloused and wore.

So anyone who has driven by my house this summer has noticed my lawn... ick! It has been terrible, but I do have an excuse! My water spicket has been broken so I couldn't even water my lawn... anyhow, the guys are done haying so they finally have had time to help me with a few things and fixing the water was one so now my lawn is finally getting a little greener!

Switch gears: Jade roped in Fyler, ID on Friday and got home late late. Saturday morning he was like, "I got you something, I left it in the truck so I'll go get it." So me and Brayker sat by the door and waited for him. He went back to the horse trailer and came walking back with this little baby!

I love my husband! He is fabulous! I am so excited to have my own lawn mower! I have already mowed my lawn twice! I'm glad that we waited so long before we got one because this was reg. $300 and Jade got it for $86!

brayker can now stand up in his crib... (right when i get him trained to lay down and fall asleep) so when i put him down to sleep, he scrambles to the edge of his crib and climbs right up! so i just have to keep laying him down over and over until he finally decides it is ok to just lay there... he thinks he is sooo big and he is so proud of himself when he can stand now...

we went to the pool at sweetwater on monday and tuesday... brayker LOVES the water! his favorite is to splash the water. it is so cute because he holds his breath when the water hits him in the face. he is my fav ever!!

**Well my little guy is 28 weeks old! 7 months... I can't even believe it. He has been the greatest baby ever and I love him so much.

Loves to talk and is sooo close to crawling. He gets up on all 4's and tries so hard to go, but eventually tips over.
Jade has been a wonderful father too. They have so much fun together and they'll both be so glad when Brayker is big enough to go out workin with dad.
***Jade has been rodeoin like a mad-man and they've been hangin in there pretty good. Went to Logan last night and he is sitting 2nd. Tonight he is in Grace and Coalville on Sat.
*** Grandpa Weston turned 90 last month.
*** Finally got my hair done... it is shorter and dark now.
*** My phone died so I have absolutely no numbers for anyone. I'm not due for an upgrade until next year... ugh.
*** 5 year reunion is this month- CRAZY!

brayker likes to watch the horses at the rodeos. he is such a good kid and we are so lucky to have him. jade has been doin good at the rodeos. i will be so glad when this 24th week is over because it is such a busy time for him. he has been somewhere everyday this week.
brayker had his six month shots this week and poor kid was a trooper... and... he has a tooth now, so i will try to get a good pic. xoxo

Jade roped all over this weekend so Brayker and I played at Bob & Laura's house. We had a good time. We went to Aunt Leslie's house and played cards until 3Am. Such a blast!!!
Had a blast though and was able to make it home for church on Sunday.This is the ropin in Reno that my dad ropes in. This is only half the guys, they fill the whole arena and it is so neat to see them all sitting here during the national anthem. I was sad that I didn't get to go this year not only because of the strawberries, but because I just love Reno:)

We went to Jackson for the 4th! Jade was up at 6 rodeos this weekend and was able to roll into Jackson at 3 in the morning to be with us. Brayker and I went earlier on Saturday with my parents. It was fun. Brayker was a trooper. We walked around and shopped for half the day and he napped and shopped right along with us!
At the ropin. We mostly played outside. Dad took the Logan coach horse trailer so we were able to lay inside on the bed with the cool air.

Brayker has starting munchin on his toes every now and then... cutest thing ever! :)

My 23 week old tried rice cereal for the first time last night!! Sad, he is so big!

But he loved it, I tried some and seriously... sick! But I guess that is what ya do right? Next week we go to the dr and see how he is doing.

Brayker is getting to that point where he stares at everything that goes in your mouth and whenever you pick up a drink he wants to grab it, so I got him a little sippy cup and put some water in it. He can't drink out of it unless I help him tip it up but he loves to chew on the lid and it is soooo cute!!! He is so much fun.

Jade is all over this weekend. They roped in Lehi last night and did good. They are sitting first right now so I hope that it holds all weekend!

My parents are coming home from Reno today and we are excited to see them.

Tyler John came home yesterday and he looks super fabulous! He is such a great kid and we have missed him. He looks a little more grown up and mature. It is fun to hear him speak in Spanish.

Louie and Chelsie got engaged on Wednesday night!!! Her ring is sooo pretty and I am so excited for them!!!

So on Monday night, dad and Jader decided they were going to Idaho to pick up steers at 6 pm. Mom and I didn't really want to go based on the fact that we had taken the grands to the dr in Garden City and then went back to Evanston to get pills and had just gotten home. One of them mentioned it wasn't too far from Lava where they had to go so we told them we would go if we could go to the hot springs. So we went and it was sooo fun and relaxing.

AND, rodeo season has officially started. Pleasant Grove tonight, Cedar City friday, back to PG on Saturday and hittin Evanston on the way home. I don't know how Jade keeps it all straight cause I can't. Anyway, have a great day!!!

Brayker is rolling all over the place and I can hardly believe it. I can no longer leave him on the ottoman watching tv. Strictly the floor now, and from now on I have to strap him in the swing... I won't tell you why :)

Below: Brayker is a pretty good shopper! When I carry him in his Baby Bjorn, he will shop for a while then, take a little catnap. I just love my little son! He is the greatest!

Sorry I'm slacking so bad lately on the picture department but good grief, I honestly don't know where my time goes! :) Last weekend, Mom, Ash, Brayker, Julie and I went down to Dana's house and stayed the night and went shopping and ordered chinese food and ate at the Cheesecake Factory. We had such a good time and what fun company. I love Ashley's family and it was just so fun to be with them.

And you should be proud... not counting wal-mart on the way home... I only spent about 25 bucks shopping.

Well, I haven't posted for the longest time, and I don't have my camera with me, but thought I'd write something anyway! Brayker had his 4 month shots yesterday! It was so sad. He was pretty tough though. When he was done, I picked him up and got him to quit crying. Then he looked at the dr, stuck out his bottom lip and started crying again. But he did great. I wasn't feeling very good so instead of going to Wal-Mart, mom just drove me home. She is fabulous. The second I got to mom's, I started throwing up and it didn't stop until 2 this morning. I have never ever been so sick in my whole life. I think Brayker felt awful too, he cried for 3 hours straight which isn't like him at all. I was so weak that I couldn't even hold him. So mom and Jade took care of him and got him to sleep. Then 3 this morning I hear mom and dad taking turns throwing up in their bathroom. So don't come near me... :) This morning, I went and layed in my parents bed and Brayker just layed by me and laughed and giggled. He was really good about just laying there and watching tv with me. I feel so bad because I neglected him for a whole night and felt so worthless. :( But I am starting to feel better!
And my poor brother Nick, he cut his hand real bad the other day. He was skinning a calf and stabbed his wrist. So mom and I went with him Tuesday night to the ER cause he wasn't sure about it, they cleaned and bandaged him up and told him to come the next day so they could check it again. So when he went they looked and told him he needed surgery because it didn't look good. Then this morning they thought it looked a lot better. So for now, no surgery! Poor guy. And poor Sherydon... still no baby but she is being a trooper. I know how long those last weeks go and she has been great!
And, Grandma Stuart is home! I think she is doing better just from being home. She is such an amazing woman and I love her so much!

I went to Salt Lake yesterday to see my cousin Sherrie. She is babysitting Brett & Amanda's kids and it was so fun! We just laid on the lawn and ordered chinese food and just had a relaxing little visit!

I am so sorry that the only thing that I post about is Brayker, but I guess that is what happens when you become a mom right? :) He loves to play with his grandpa!
Walking around the Quilted Bear... he loved looking at everything for awhile then he cozied right down in his stroller and took a nap. :)
We went to dinner the other night and look how excited they were. Haha!

Ok, I love this... i was eating chocolate ice cream and dipped his binky in it. Ten minutes later this is what happened when Mr. Binky fell out... he has a ring of chocolate on his chin:)

Well, for the last month Brayker has been sleeping from about 11.12ish until 630.7ish. He is so great... But this morning he work up at 430 and i'm hoping it's not a regular thing. :) He is 3 months & 2 days old. I can't even believe it and it is so crazy how fast he is growing. I put him in 6 month pjs last night and they were a bit big but won't be long til they'll be small. :( People always told me to enjoy it because they grow fast... i'm starting to believe them and find myself annoyingly telling others the same thing. :)

Brayker did really good for his second time at church. I went to primary and had Jade bring Brayker to sacrament. They were a little late getting there (Jade realized it kind of hard to get ready with a baby around). :)

We went to Pocatello last weekend and had a fun time!!! We shopped quite a bit! I got these 4 great shoes! I know that they are pretty much the same but I couldn't decide which color I liked!! They were all $11 at BIGK!!!!

Sherydon's shower was so much fun today! We got to visit and have a great time with everyone! Brayker and I had a sleepover with Grandma last night because Jade and Pops went ropin to Salina. Jade and Shad won 1st in the open this morning. Yay! They are on their way home and I can't wait!!

Today was Brayker's blessing and Jade did such a great job. It was so spiritual! Brayker was fantastic too. He didn't cry once during church and was just a little angel. :)His outfit was so cute. Thanks Emily for letting us borrow it. I wish I would have gotten some more pictures of him but I didn't. :( He had a tux coat jacket with the cute little tail in back. Oh my heck he was adorable!!!

Brayker's room is finally 'kind of' clean and organized! I bought some of those cheap wooden letters at wal~mart, painted them blue and then mod~podged paper on them. Then chalked around the outside of the letter with brown chalk so it would stick out a little better. Then I vinyled in the rest of his name. This is a picture of his messy closet. He has so many clothes and I threw more than half of them in his dresser. On the right is his light switch. It looks kind of goofy with the horse on it so I think I am going to take it off. And the bottom right picture, I finally got Jade to put my 'Mickey Mouse' knobs on the dresser! (i would have but it needed a little riggin' and i didn't want to take the time)
Anyhow, Brayker had his shots on Monday and he did so good. Jade was there and I made him stand there with him and the second he started crying, so did I and I had to run over and be close to him. :) Not that I helped any but I felt better. He weighed 12lb. 6oz. and was 23". Cute little fella. We are blessing him on Sunday so feel free to come. :)
